Sr. Advanced Markets Consultant

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Advanced Markets Consultant to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will serve as a trusted subject matter expert on qualified retirement plans, providing consultative guidance on complex regulatory, compliance, and operational matters. The position partners with plan sponsors and internal stakeholders to evaluate plan design options, address transaction-related issues, and translate evolving legislative and regulatory changes into clear, actionable communications. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $108,860 – $136,080 annually Responsibilities Research and analyze IRC, ERISA, and state laws to provide consultative support Serve as a subject matter expert on qualified retirement plans Provide technical guidance on regulatory requirements and compliance obligations Support sponsors using the company's pre-approved retirement plan document program Recommend remediation strategies and plan design alternatives Consult on complex retirement plan issues involving corporate transactions Develop and deliver communications on legislative and regulatory developments Qualifications Bachelor's degree required 10+ years of experience with qualified retirement plans and regulations Experience interpreting IRC and ERISA in operational or compliance settings Strong knowledge of retirement plan compliance and operations Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration across functions Benefits Health, dental, vision, and life insurance plans 401(k) savings plan with generous company matching contributions Employer-paid cash balance retirement plan (4%) Tuition reimbursement up to $5,250/year 20 days paid time off plus nine paid holidays and a flexible Diversity Celebration Day 40 hours of paid volunteer time per year Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
