Sr Advanced Engineering Support Specialist

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience, plus 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

As an ECAD Librarian and PCB Designer for Undersea Systems, you’ll support CCA development for electronics used in high reliability undersea communication systems.

• Minimum of two years’ experience using Mentor Graphics Xpedition.
• Experience with library management practices.
• Experience with ECAD/PCB layout design processes.
• Knowledge of one or more PCB design tools from the Mentor Graphics suite (xDM, Xpedition, DXdatabook, BoardStation, Hyperlynx) or Altium.
• Experience with library management practices including Xpedition parts request system, Footprint Expert Enterprise 23, 3D model creation using Solidworks NX or CREO, and Hyperlynx.
• Circuit design and hands-on prototyping experience.
• Basic knowledge of IPC and manufacturing standards.
• In-depth knowledge of CCA fabrication techniques.
• Ability to communicate with suppliers to provide clarification on design documentation packages.
• Experience with schematic capture in Xpedition.
• Documentation capture including bill of material parts lists, ODB++ digital fabrication packages, and 3D model generation.

Schedule

This position can be onsite with some hybrid work. If on-site, you will be part of the McLeansville, NC location.

Pay

Target salary range: USD $126,862.00/Yr. - USD $137,269.00/Yr.
