Job Description As a Sr. Advanced Electrical Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the design and development of cutting-edge electrical systems and components. Use your advanced knowledge of the hardware engineering discipline, processes, and tools to help Honeywell HPS deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work under limited supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation of industrial automation, sensing and control products by designing, testing and/or validating products/processes from prototype to market. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise to ensure the success of complex engineering projects and programs while acting as a mentor to more junior engineers. You will report directly to our Sr. Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Ft. Washington, PA location on a Hybrid work schedule. You will interact with internal and external customers to facilitate the completion of products to customer specifications. Use your advanced hardware engineering knowledge by working on exciting products and processes serving customers globally Refine and expand your engineering skills in a team-based culture by working with innovative products and technologies. Partner with various project teams to reach effective solutions to complex hardware engineering problems. Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Actively support and contribute to the development and production of new electronic designs and the systematic improvement of existing ones.Provide technical expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams to support successful project execution and product development.Lead the selection, qualification, and management of electronic components for both New Product Introduction (NPI) and sustaining engineering programs.Identify, evaluate, and implement component cost-saving opportunities while maintaining product quality and performance requirements. Drive supplier engagement and component selection activities to support new product development and sustain existing product lines.Contribute to the overall success of the Honeywell Hardware Center of Excellence (COE) Team through effective design and engineering practices, troubleshooting and cross-disciplinary collaboration Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE BS in Electrical Engineering or related fieldMinimum of 10 years of experience in electronic design or related fieldsSubject matter expert in analog electronic circuit designProven experience with digital and mixed signal electronic circuit designExpert in low voltage power supply analysis, simulation, and design WE VALUE MS in Electrical Engineering or related fieldBasic regulatory knowledge and experience with; UL, ULC, FM, FCC, EN, NFPA standards.Knowledge of SAP, Siemens team center for documentation control. Experience with basic electronic laboratory equipment and proceduresCross functional collaboration experience working across disciplines such as sourcing, manufacturing, quality management and outside vendors.
