SR ADMISSIONS REP - OP Imaging (Full Time)

Responsibilities

Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility, provides quality health care to the Texoma region. The main campus is in Denison, Texas, and the organization operates multiple facilities across the region. As part of Universal Health Services, Inc., TMC offers specialized services including open heart surgery and neurosurgery, supported by advanced resources.

Qualifications

• Reading and numerical competency
• College business and/or accounting courses preferred
• One (1) year of patient scheduling and healthcare patient registration required
• Working knowledge of third party payer requirements, healthcare billing, and strong customer service experience
• The ability to prioritize and perform work in an organized, efficient, and effective manner without constant supervision or direction
• The ability to handle detail work and work accurately and rapidly
• Experience in basic computer, internet, data entry collections, and medical terminology preferred
• The ability to calculate, accept variety of types of payment, and process daily batches with accurate cash reconciliation
