Sr. Admissions Registrar Emergency Department Full-Time 7a-3:30p

Job Information

• This opportunity is for a full-time Senior Admissions Registrar position with the main Emergency Department
• Schedule: 7a-3:30p - every other weekend with Wednesday off
• 1 year registration experience required

About the Role

Responsible to greet patients cordially, register patients accurately and efficiently, perform initial financial screening and counseling, obtain all needed signatures, and inform patients of Hospital admission and financial responsibilities, collect money due at the time of service.

Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• EMR Knowledge and medical coding experience needed
• Prior Registration experience is required
• Must be able to multitask and work in fast paced environment
• Mandatory Medical Terminology
• Accurate data entry is required
