Sr. Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled professional for a temporary position with the potential for permanent conversion. This role involves managing critical accounting functions and ensuring the financial integrity of our operations. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in financial reporting and serve as the primary point of contact for the agencies we service.Main ResponsibilitiesPrepare and submit journal entries for one or two agencies.Conduct monthly account reconciliations and analyses.Close the books of the agency each month and manage the financial reporting package.Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for the agencies being serviced.Work in a fast-paced environment during the close and meet published deadlines.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting is required.3 - 5 years' experience in a similar role is a plus.Experience in a shared service center environment is advantageous.Knowledge of the D365 ERP system is a plus.Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.The position is based in our Jersey City office, with a requirement for employees to be in the office three days a week. While this is a temporary position, we offer some flexibility but aim to adhere to the same policies as our full-time employees.
