Responsibilities
- Support month-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Maintain general ledger schedules for accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and inventory
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Review accounting work completed by Staff Accountants and provide guidance as needed
- Oversee accounts payable activities, bank reconciliations, and cash reporting
- Auxiliary with process improvements, internal controls, and system-related initiatives
- Support tax filings, audits, and special projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Experience with QuickBooks Online
- Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
