Squash On Fire has built something special in Washington, D.C. — an eight-court, purpose-built facility in the heart of the city where high performance and genuine community coexist. Since opening in 2017, we’ve built a nationally recognized program serving hundreds of junior and adult players, generating over $2.1M in annual revenue and maintaining court occupancy above 70% at peak.
About the role
You’ll join a strong coaching staff led by Director of Squash Ronny Vlassaks, delivering programs that range from elite junior development to beginner adult clinics — and everything in between. No two days look the same here.
- Private lessons tailored to each player’s goals
- Group clinics, round robins and league programming
- Junior academy coaching and long-term player mentorship
- School outreach programs and summer camps
- Special events that bring the broader D.C. squash community together
Requirements
- Meaningful experience coaching both juniors and adults across skill levels
- Strong communication skills and a natural ability to connect with players and families
- Sound professional judgment — especially when working with youth
- Willingness to complete background checks, youth protection training, and CPR/AED/First Aid certification (or you already have them)
- Existing U.S. work authorization is strongly preferred
