About the role
As a Professional Security Officer, you will be responsible for the security and safety of our client’s property and personnel. You will know all site-specific policies and procedures, respond to emergencies as appropriate, and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Know and enforce all site-specific policies and procedures
- Respond to emergencies calmly and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service and communication
- Handle crisis situations at the client site
- Operate innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites
- Work in various environments (e.g., cold weather, rain/snow, or heat)
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
- Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
- Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
Requirements
- Active or retired law enforcement experience required
- Valid CA Guard Card required
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public professionally
- Intermediate computer skills
Pay
Average pay: $50.00/hour (depending on specific requirements outlined in the job posting)
