SQL Server / SSIS Developer

About the role

A senior developer responsible for supporting and enhancing core data infrastructure within a financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and support batch jobs and ETL/data pipelines for critical business operations.
• Enhance SQL queries, stored procedures, and build robust data workflows.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production environments, performing root cause analysis.
• Document data processes and collaborate with QA, support, and engineering teams to deliver reliable solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience, with expertise in batch job support and development.
• Strong database skills, including query optimization and stored procedure development.
• Proficiency in .NET/C# for backend and batch workflow development.
• Experience supporting scheduled, automated jobs in production and troubleshooting failures.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with enterprise job schedulers, legacy system modernization, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Background in financial services or highly regulated environments.
