SQL Developer
About the role
Orion Innovation is seeking a skilled SQL Developer with extensive experience in Azure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL Development, Database Management, and DevOps, with experience in Agile methodologies, DevOps, and automated development.
Responsibilities
- Work independently as part of a project team
- Create and manage SQL Server Databases
- Create and optimize Database Schemas, tables, views, and stored procedures
- Manage large data volumes and performance-critical SQL processes
- Participate in sprint planning meetings
- Coordinate with full-stack developers and QA teams
- Review database performance
- Implement database best practices and performance optimization
- Support production environment and troubleshoot database issues
- Experience with SQL 2016 and above
- Azure SQL database management
- Performance tuning and optimization
- Min AZ 900 certification required
- Experience with SQL DACPAC and Visual Studio
- Strong understanding of database design and principles
