Responsibilities
- Lead a team of SQA testers supporting the product line.
- Create and track testing metrics as needed.
- Coordinate functional, regression, UAT, IOC testing.
- Prioritize test team activities based on project schedules and risk.
- Monitor defect and bug reports and manage efforts to address defects in accordance with overall test strategy, while ensuring critical issues are resolved prior to release.
- Report testing status, risks and quality metrics to leadership.
- Collaborate with development teams, product owners and project managers to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Create reports necessary to brief senior management on test strategy progress.
- Raises risks and issues identified in the test planning phase.
- Support creation of automated test plans for all impacted products as needed.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree with 10 years (or commensurate experience)
- Experience in the coordination and management of test events in accordance with approved test plans, procedures, and scripts.
- Knowledge and skills to ensure that test environments are set up accurately and with test data required.
- Experience working in a SAFe/Agile environment.
- Experience working with Jira, GitHub, or similar ALM tools.
- Experience working on IT products, operating systems, software, systems, networks and/or specialized environments.
- Experience testing Graphical User Interface (GUI) applications, Section 508 and Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA), and web-based programs.
- Proficient with MS Office tools, along with SharePoint and Teams.
- Proficient with MS SharePoint and MS Teams.
- Experience using Jira in an Agile or SAFe environment.
- Experience working with accessibility testing tools.
Preferred Skills And Experience
- Experience working with the Department of Veterans’ Affairs.
- Experience testing Graphical User Interface (GUI) applications, Section 508 and Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA).
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Proficient with MS SharePoint and MS Teams.
- Experience using Jira in an Agile or SAFe environment.
- Experience working with accessibility testing tools.
Benefits
This is a fully remote US-based position with core hours of operation from Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM ET.
Pay
USD $125,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /Yr.
