Responsibilities

Convert manual test cases into automation

  • Translate documented manual test cases, business requirements, and technical specs into reliable, maintainable automated coverage.
  • Design, build, and maintain the automated test framework for web and API testing.
  • Develop and maintain functional, regression, and API test suites.

  • Deliver documentation and training on tools, framework usage, and test design.
  • Participate in sprint planning, development meetings, and defect triage.

Improve the process with AI

  • Apply AI tools to accelerate and strengthen the QA process (e.g., AI-assisted test-case authoring, automated script generation, self-healing tests, and coverage analysis).
  • Identify bottlenecks in the testing workflow and drive measurable improvements in speed, coverage, and quality.
  • Champion an AI-first mindset within the SQA team and share best practices.

Integrate and collaborate

  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and align automation with build and release workflows.
  • Support cross-browser testing, parallel execution, and environment configuration.
  • Partner with Development, Product, and Support to investigate defects and validate fixes.
  • Communicate automation status, risks, and progress to SQA management.
