Responsibilities
- Supervises and coordinates the work of employees who repair and maintain buildings/facilities.
- Prepares work schedules, assigns work, and oversees the work product.
- May be involved in new construction or modification of existing properties.
- Receives customer repairs and maintenance requests, determines appropriate actions and assigns work to employees.
- Captures requests for outages and utility shutdowns related to scheduled projects.
- Provides input into the development of department policies and procedures.
- Ensures employees maintain current knowledge of techniques and procedures.
- Aid in meeting the business, financial, customer, service quality and regulatory requirements of the area.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of college level course work in business, management, engineering, or a related field.
- Four years of increasingly responsible facility maintenance experience including some lead supervisory experience.
- Valid state driver's license.
- Driving record must be within the approved insurance company’s regulations.
- Powered Industrial Truck Operator certification within 12 months of hire or transfer.
Preferred
- Associates degree in engineering
- High Pressure Boiler Operators License.
