Sprinkler Systems Designer

Responsibilities

• Design code-compliant sprinkler systems
• Review specifications and drawings
• Develop accurate bills of material / stock lists
• Develop and assist in the proposal of sprinkler alteration and installation solutions
• Coordinate with other designers, the sales team and the install team during all phases of the project
• Clarify specifications
• Participate in sales presentations
• Attend sales meetings
• Afford cost reviews of project proposals
• Attend sales to design and design to operations turnover meetings
• Support design functions in other branches

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in sprinkler design
• Additional experience in sales support or project management preferred
• NICET Level II in Water Based System Layout. Level III and State of Ohio Designer License preferred
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Experience in reading drawings, specifications and fire codes with an attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organization and analytical skills
