About the role
Fire Sprinkler Inspectors are responsible for the testing and documenting the results of fire protection systems according to NFPA standards.
Responsibilities
- Meet customer expectations while performing quality inspections.
- Perform routine inspections, testing, servicing, and preventative maintenance on water-based systems and/or sprinkler systems.
- Complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding through communication devices, such as laptop computers and/or hard copy.
- Follow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule.
- Input, retrieve, and archive inspection documentation program via the laptop computer.
- Complete assigned inspections on time.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Work on lifts and ladders.
- Carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50-70 pounds.
- Participate in a scheduled after-hours on-call rotation.
- Adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience with sprinkler systems.
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
- Able to read and interpret technical and parts manuals to diagnose and repair equipment.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company requirements.
- Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
Preferred Qualifications
- State Backflow certified.
- NICET II.

Pay
Hiring hourly range: $26.06 - $39.04 (Hourly rate determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data).
