About the role

This role focuses on the inspection, testing, maintenance, repair, and supervision of wet, dry, and specialty fire sprinkler systems. The ideal candidate will have strong field experience, leadership abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Cook up daily job activities, assign tasks, and ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.
  • Inspect, test, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial sprinkler systems and fire pumps in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Operate sprinkler controls, alarm panels, and other critical fire protection system components.
  • Document inspections, deficiencies, repairs, and service reports using electronic reporting systems.
  • Communicate with customers regarding system conditions, recommended repairs, and project updates.
  • Respond to service calls, diagnose system issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies and industry regulations.
  • Lead and supervise sprinkler technicians and field personnel on service and repair projects.
  • Participate in an after-hours emergency rotation as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on commercial fire sprinkler system experience; supervisory or foreman experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of fire protection codes, standards, and sprinkler system operations.
  • NICET Level I certification, NICET Level II Certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and continuous learning.

Qualifications

  • High School Additional Information: 2 openings available. Employer will assist with relocation costs.
  • Sign-On Bonus Available: $12,000 for a successful NICET II Certified Hire $6,000 for a successful NICET I Certified Hire

Pay
