Sprinkler Fire Alarm System Inspector - Entry Level

Essential Job Functions

• Timely and efficient performance of inspection, testing, and maintenance of water-based systems with direct supervision
• Load and handle materials and equipment
• Wash and maintain vehicles
• Absorb and coordinate with monitoring companies, fire department, and other authorities to avoid false alarms and unreported true alarms
• Absorb and requisition materials and equipment
• Absorb and service systems per manufacturer’s maintenance manuals, the law, and the adopted Standards of the National Fire Protection Association
• Absorb and complete paperwork as directed
• Absorb and prepare proposals as assigned

Minimum Qualifications, Education, Experience, Licenses, ETC

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License
• Acceptable background check and drug screen

Required Skills and Abilities

• Basic arithmetic
• Ability to interact with customers in a professional manner
• Basic computer and software skills
• The ability to communicate in English
