About the Role
The Softball Head Coach position is responsible for leading the high school softball program. The candidate should have a desire to work with student-athletes, be enthusiastic, patient, organized, mature, dependable, and responsible.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the softball program, including practices, games, and meetings
- Ensure knowledge and adherence to PIAA rules and fundamentals of the sport
- Work collaboratively with secondary students, staff, and community stakeholders
- Perform additional job-related duties as requested by the Building Principal or designee
Requirements
- Availability for game, practice, and meeting times
- Knowledge of PIAA rules and softball fundamentals
- Willingness to work with secondary students
- Playing or coaching experience preferred
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
