Spring Intern - Cyber Security

Summary The Cybersecurity Analyst will play a pivotal part in maintaining the security and integrity of data systems and ensuring the protection of our clients' information. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact and gain hands-on experience in the field of cybersecurity within a dynamic and evolving industry. Location: Ideal candidate will be located in the Colorado Springs, CO Responsibilities Perform security assessments and vulnerability scans on our information systems and network infrastructure. Recommend hardware/software adjustments as needed (including recommended software/hardware vendors) Analyze security data and logs to detect and respond to potential threats and vulnerabilities Lead the development and implementation of security policies, standards, and procedures Take the lead in incident response and recovery efforts, including root cause analysis and mitigation strategies Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security measures and address cybersecurity challenges Stay up to date with emerging security threats, trends, and best practices. Recommend adjustments as needed Provide technical support and guidance to employees on security-related matters Design and implement cybersecurity awareness training and education initiatives for the organization
