Spring Intern-Accounting (Internal Audit) - FY 2027

The full‑time spring Accounting Spring Co‑op / Internship provides practical experience in accounting, including Sarbanes‑Oxley controls testing, operational audits, and exposure to SAP ECC, SAP BW, and BPC ERP systems. The position is based in Allentown, PA and requires willingness to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) controls testing: joint meetings with external auditors and management, prepare work papers, analyze evidence of control performance, make pass/failure determinations, and support follow‑up of identified issues.
• Perform tests of compliance in areas including Financial Reporting, Taxes, Payroll, Revenue, Fixed Assets, Treasury, and Requisition‑to‑Pay.
• Gain exposure to SAP ECC, SAP BW, and BPC ERP systems.
• Execute operational audit programs, perform testing, and prepare audit work papers to document conclusions.

Requirements

• Minimum GPA of 3.3.
• Current sophomore or junior student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, interpersonal, communication, and time‑management skills.
• Previous experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Inquisitive mindset.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Experience with a data analytics tool (preferred).

Schedule

Full‑time spring internship.
