Spring 2027 Mechanical Engineering Co-Op - Project Execution

Schedule

West Chester, OH – Monday through Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM.

Responsibilities

• Set up drawing packages for the project engineering team.
• Generate detail views of the material handling equipment to be provided by Trew.
• Update drawing packages based on provided redline details.
• Plot drawings to be shipped to project sites to support installation.
• Work directly with lead engineers.
• Update process and procedure documentation as outlined by the project team.

Skills

• Strong people skills with the ability to work effectively with organizations and individuals at all levels.
• Ability to learn quickly and a desire to broaden skills and experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail, especially regarding drawing accuracy.
• Drafting experience of some kind preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Mechanical preferred).

Work Environment

This is primarily a desk‑based role, requiring extended periods of sitting and computer use. Mobility within the office, manufacturing facility, and customer sites may be required for meetings and interactions with colleagues.

Physical Requirements

• Required to stand, walk, and sit; talk and hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands and fingers, and reach with hands and arms for the use of tools to assemble heavy equipment.
• Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Travel less than 10 %.
