About the role
We are seeking interns to work on real, open-ended problems that directly contribute to the success of our company. Interns will work closely with mentors and other employees to apply their knowledge and grow their skills through high-impact projects.
Qualifications
- Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science or a similar STEM field
- Exceptional command of engineering fundamentals
- Hands-on engineering experience through internships, personal projects, work, or teams
- Able to manage a complex technical project and take it through execution
- Able to learn and apply state of the art techniques to technical projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Able to work full-time, onsite for a minimum of 10-12 consecutive weeks starting in January 2027
Preferred qualifications
- Mechanical: Project-level experience with mechanical, thermodynamic, or fluid design and analysis. CAD proficiency and working as part of a team a plus
- Manufacturing: Hands on experience building things or working in a machine shop
- Avionics: Designing, testing, and integrating PCBs, test equipment, and/or harnessing
- Test Operations: Any hands-on experience building things or performing hazardous ops (pressure testing, cryogenic handling, etc.)
- Mission Management: Mechanical background with CAD experience and a strong interest in business operations and project management
