About the role

Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight. Interns work directly with Blue engineering teams on projects in support of our business units.

Responsibilities

  • Work on projects involving applied electronics and electrical engineering including avionics hardware, software, hardware in the loop, instrumentation & controls, system test, power systems, communication systems, mechanical systems, propulsion systems, manufacturing, and systems engineering.
  • Gain hands-on, real-world experience through mentorship and feedback from mentors and managers.
  • Participate in events to learn about other parts of our organization.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
  • Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship.
  • Available to work full time for 15 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.
  • Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for space.

Qualifications

  • If you have any experience with the following, please be sure to include it on your resume: Relevant internship/co-op and academic project experience that demonstrate development of both technical skills as well as leadership qualities. Hands-on project experience. Experience with design and test of Avionics (electrical, mechanical). Experience with robotics.

Benefits

We offer housing and relocation support. Interns are responsible for daily transportation to and from their work locations.

Pay

Hourly compensation for applicant is: $38.00
