Spreader Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a tank mounted straight truck while pulling a trailer.
• Spread primarily asphalt products, such as emulsions, at job sites.
• Perform labor tasks and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Conduct daily inspections of the spreader truck.
• Maintain Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) as required by law.
• Ensure proper fuel levels and tire pressure in equipment.
• Timely collection and submission of time records.
• Comply with all paperwork requirements.

Qualifications

• Class A license with a tanker & HazMat endorsement.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects with organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to function under fast-paced, stressful conditions.
• Strong sense of responsibility for timely and accurate work completion.
• Experience in pavement preservation is helpful.
• Valid Class A driver’s license in good standing.
• Capable of traveling up to 2-3 weeks at a time.
