Spray Technician - Tucson North

Santa Rita Landscaping seeks full-time experienced Spray Technicians to join our team of professionals. Ideal candidates are motivated self-starters who are organized, have a strong work ethic, can work independently, and have a willingness to learn. Training and certification are available for motivated applicants to become certified applicators.

Responsibilities

• Treat weed, insect, disease, and nutritional deficiencies by applying appropriate products
• Perform pest control applications following Company-established guidelines
• Conduct a variety of application types including backpack, granular, and high-volume spray applications
• Communicate effectively with Field Supervisors, Account Managers, and fellow employees
• Strictly adhere to all safety procedures and laws/regulations governing pesticide applications
• Document all work performed via application records and daily work logs
• Properly maintain your truck and equipment and report any problems in a timely manner

Requirements

• Licensed in OPM Category 4 (Right of Ways) and 3 (Turf and Ornamental)
• Ability to work independently, consistently, and efficiently with limited supervision
• Flexible enough to work varying hours, including long days, to meet company needs
• Ability to frequently lift, pull, and push 75 lbs
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work and walk for long durations in Arizona weather
• Reliable and punctual
• Valid Arizona driver’s license and a clean driving history
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Previous Sustainable Landscape Management experience is a bonus
