Spray Technician

Job Summary

St. Petersburg Country Club, located in St. Petersburg, FL, is seeking a Full-Time Spray Technician. This position is part of Troon, a global leader in golf and community management.

Responsibilities

• Making all chemical and fertilizer applications under the guidance of Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent
• Detailed record keeping
• Inventory management
• Maintenance / calibration of spray and fertilizer application equipment
• Spray selective and non-selective herbicides
• Perform fertilizer applications on all playing surfaces
• May help with other tasks on the golf course as directed by supervisor

Qualifications

• Experience working on a golf course is preferred but not required
• A valid State issued Driver’s License
• Meet all Federal and State Employment Eligibility guidelines
• Must be able to stand on their feet for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift and/or carry items that are at most 50 pounds
• A pesticide license is not required but preferred
