Responsibilities
- Ensures quality chemical and fertilizer application.
- Understands how to apply and mix chemicals properly.
- Responsible for meeting daily route/project requirements of Green Summit Contracts.
- Oversees and manages 1 other person (spray tech helper).
- Proactively manages spray needs for the maintenance accounts.
- Responsible for safe operation of all equipment required to complete the work on any given workday.
- Mets productivity budgets for hours, gross margin, and book revenue.
- Checks timecards for accuracy and adjusts the schedule as needed.
- Meets with Account Manager, Field Operations Managers, and Crew Leaders on sites when needed.
- Provides training as needed to Green Summit Team Members.
Qualifications
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Operational Skills: Ability to operate a trencher, ability to drive a ¾ ton truck, or bigger, with a 18’ trailer hauling equipment.
- Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Current NMDA Spray Operator/Technician license preferred but can get one during first month of employment if you don’t have one already.
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
- The employee is regularly required to stand and walk.
Work Environment
- It is a professional environment working in the field alongside crews, as well as in a professional office setting.
- Often you will be working alone and therefore required to be self-motivated and self-starting to accomplish the job duties and responsibilities.
