Spray Application

The Spray Technician is responsible for applying chemicals as directed.

Chemical Safety

Possesses an awareness of and commits to chemical safety practices.

Instructions Accuracy

Fulfills assigned tasks and follows instructions accurately.

Education and Experience

• Has or can obtain a Qualified Applicator Level (QAL) certification.
• Basic knowledge of plant material.
• Able to communicate in both English and Spanish – both orally and in writing.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Continuous bending, stooping, and twisting throughout the day.
• Works 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks, including some overtime and weekend work.
• Works in extreme conditions, including temperatures exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Works in direct sunlight for extended periods.
• Works in situations near direct automotive traffic and around natural bodies of water.
• Works in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and direct sunlight.

Work Environment

Works in environments that may involve exposure to chemicals, direct sunlight, and automotive traffic.
