Spray Equipment Repair Tech

About the role

This position supports sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams paint store, servicing both wholesale and retail customers. Responsibilities include performing repairs on various types of spray equipment, conducting hydraulic and warranty repairs, rebuilding pumps, educating employees and customers on spray equipment, and maintaining inventory.

Responsibilities

• Support sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams paint store
• Perform repairs on all types of spray equipment (e.g., airless, conventional, electrostatic, pressure washers)
• Conduct hydraulic and warranty repairs
• Rebuild pumps
• Educate other employees and customers on spray equipment
• Maintain an inventory of spray parts

Requirements

• Minimum requirements: Must be at least 18 years old, legally authorized to work in the country of employment, able to lift up to 70 lbs. on occasion, and willing to work evenings and weekends
• Preferred qualifications: Valid driver’s license, high school diploma or GED, prior repair experience, retail/sales experience, experience with tinting and mixing equipment, ability to speak multiple languages, and fluency in Spanish
