Spray Applicator
Duties And Responsibilities
- Operate spray equipment
- Measure mixing agents to create necessary sprays for application
- Apply various pesticides and fertilizers to maintain areas
Physical Demands/Requirements
- Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds
- Regular exposure to outside environment including rain, cold, sun, or night
- Repetitive movement - standing, walking, twisting, turning, bending, squatting, and stooping
- Work in or about situations near direct automotive traffic
- Work near or about natural bodies of water
- Ability to work in extreme conditions – temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods
Education And Experience
- Prior experience with chemical or spray applications is highly desired
- Must work under the direction and supervision of the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent and Agronomic Technician
- Maintain a valid Driver’s License
- Strong attention to detail
- Operate efficiently and safely at all times
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
- Able to perform other cultural applications on a golf course as needed - assist with aerifications, applying seed to designated areas, sand topdressing applications
