Spr Outpatient Rehab III

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation and staff assignment and assumes interim administrative responsibility in the event of the manager's absence
• Provides clinical direction as well as completes staff performance reviews of direct patient care staff
• Aids in budget development as well as analysis of budgetary performance and variances, as well as productivity management
• Aids in the identification of need for the procurement of supplies
• Aids in recruitment and hiring of staff, new staff orientation, and implementation/follow through with the corrective action process
• Aids in ensuring compliance of staff with identified clinical skill development, competencies, and state practice guidelines
• Aids in performance improvement activities, data collection/analysis, and project design
• Facilitates and operationalizes departmental and institutional policies and procedures
• Aids in preparation for the compliance with regulatory agencies
• Identifies program development needs and assists in implementation
• Aids in representing the Rehabilitation department on departmental and hospital wide committees as deemed appropriate
• Provides direct patient care

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy; Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy or related field
• Licensed or eligible for state license
• More than 2 years experience required
• Basic Life Support within 6 months

Competent in clinical skills and knowledge of rehabilitation practices.
