About the Role

Reporting to the Sportsbook Manager, you will be the face of our retail operation. By providing a high level of customer service, you will ensure both regulars and novice bettors feel welcome at our sportsbook(s). As an expert in our sports betting options, you will advise and answer customer questions to help them make informed, responsible wagering decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide top-tier customer service to encourage repeat visits
  • Adhere to all company and gaming control board rules and regulations
  • Become familiar with betting options and engage customers in conversations about them
  • Resolve customer disputes or complaints, escalating to a supervisor when needed
  • Work collaboratively as a positive team member with colleagues and leadership
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation according to company policy and gaming control board standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic computer knowledge (email, MS Excel, internet)
  • Minimum of 1 year of cash handling experience in a work setting
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent (preferred)
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain a gaming license from the Gaming Control Board
  • High level of customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to perform simple math
  • Commitment to adhering to all compliance requirements set by the company and Gaming Control Board
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to write for extended periods
  • Ability to twist, bend, or reach without significant limitations
