Sportsbar Cashier/Host - Part Time

Responsibilities

• Foster a fun environment.
• Be a gracious host to all guests and co-workers.
• Promote a positive influence in the community and participate in company-sponsored events.
• Maintain compliance with ACES Service Program guidelines.
• Monitor and intervene with guest alcohol consumption as necessary.
• Promote gaming events and promotions.
• Process cash and credit card transactions while maintaining financial controls.
• Maintain a clean and stocked workstation.
• Comply with state, company, and department policies and regulations.
• Create and maintain a seating chart.
• Ensure proper rotation and seating fairness using Host Concepts software.
• Utilize ACES Service Guidelines and provide a warm farewell.
• Perform opening and closing side work.
• Serve tables, clear tables, expedite, and run food when needed.
• Assist with bussing tables.
• Keep the restaurant and host stand clean, organized, and sanitized.
• Understand and articulate the menu to guests.
• Work special events as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• Outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude.
• Understanding and enjoyment of the menu.
• Comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with guests.
• Able to promptly and accurately follow instructions from supervisors or managers.
• Licensed by Ohio Lottery Commission.
• Able to work as a team.
• Comfortable working in a high-stimulus environment.
• Able to work at a fast pace and walk long distances throughout the shift.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Open availability including all three shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to respond to visual and oral cues.
• Meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
• Capable of learning new software.
