Role Summary As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you’ll work directly under our Marketing and Partnerships Coordinator to brainstorm, develop, and distribute engaging content across our social channels: primarily Instagram. You’ll help manage posting schedules, edit video content, and bring fresh, creative energy to our digital presence. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a content portfolio and gain hands-on experience in social media, content creation, and brand storytelling! Key Responsibilities Assist with daily content creation and posting for Instagram, including Reels, Stories, and Feed postsCreate and edit short-form video content using mobile or desktop editing tools such as CapCut, Premiere, and CanvaHelp maintain a consistent brand voice and visual aesthetic across social channelsMonitor current social media trends and brainstorm creative ways to apply them to the Volo brandSchedule social media posts and assist with tracking performance metricsParticipate in creative content meetings and contribute new ideasAssist with light graphic design and caption writing as neededEngage with community comments and DMs as neededAttend Volo leagues to capture photo and video content What We’re Looking For Strong knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and current social media trendsExperience with video editing on a phone or desktopComfortable using creative and social media tools such as Canva, CapCut, and Adobe SuiteCreative thinker with a passion for storytellingStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsSelf-starter who can work independently and manage deadlinesBonus: Experience with sports, rec leagues, or community-based contentAble to attend Volo leagues to record contentMust be available 1–2 weeknights per week for content capture PERKS Mentorship from content professionalsOpportunity to contribute to city-specific campaignsPortfolio-building experience using real brand assetsFree access to Volo sports leagues & eventsDiscounted Volo Pass Membership
