We must not include Pay or Schedule sections. Check that we didn't include any boilerplate like EEO, equal opportunity, scam warning, application instructions, navigation, cookie, legal. We removed those. We kept all substantive info: department, appointment type, FTE, application review date, department summary, responsibilities, minimum requirements (including special requirement and FLSA), professional competencies (skills), preferred qualifications (qualifications), benefits. We omitted the line about "Compensation Band: OS-OA06-Fiscal Year 2025-2026" maybe considered pay info but it's a band; but it's still compensation detail. However it's not a specific salary; it's a band. The instruction says never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless posting actually states them. It does state compensation band. Could we include that in About the role or maybe a separate Compensation section? But we are not allowed to create Pay section unless posting actually states them. It does state compensation band, which is pay-related. However the instruction says "never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them." It does state compensation band, which is pay-related. Should we include a Pay section? The example of filler text includes "commensurate with experience". The compensation band is more specific: OS-OA06-Fiscal Year 2025-2026. That is a specific band. Might be considered substantive. However the instruction also says "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." Could we include compensation band in About the role or maybe a separate Compensation section? The allowed headings list includes Pay. So we could add a Pay section with that band. But we must not include filler like "commensurate with experience". The band is not filler. So we could add a Pay section. But we already have Benefits section. Should we add Pay? Let's see if we have any other pay info: Salary: Commensurate with experience (filler) plus Compensation Band: OS-OA06-Fiscal Year 2025-2026. The band is specific. So we could include Pay section with that band. However we must not repeat the job title as heading. That's fine. We need to decide: include Pay section with the compensation band. The instruction: "never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them." It does state compensation band, which is pay-related. So we can include Pay. But we also have Salary: Commensurate with experience (filler). We should not include that filler. We can just mention the compensation band. Thus add:Pay
Compensation Band: OS-OA06-Fiscal Year 2025-2026.
We should also maybe keep the Salary line? Not needed. Now check for any other info: "Special Requirement This position will require a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain UO Driver's Certification." We included as list item under Requirements. "FLSA Exempt: All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a background check." Included. Now check for any other info: "Department Summary" we used in About the role. "Position Summary" we used in Responsibilities. "Minimum Requirements" we used. "Professional Competencies" we used as Skills. "Preferred Qualifications" we used as Qualifications. "Benefits" we used. Now check for any leftover boilerplate: "The University of Oregon is an equal-opportunity institution committed to cultural diversity and compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act..." etc. Remove.
