Sports Official (Part -Time)

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with Athletic Specialists for officiating services at specific competitions.
• Ensures an atmosphere of fun, recreation, and good sportsmanship in a safe environment.
• Enforces Parks & Neighborhoods – Athletics policies and playing rules to maintain control, fairness, and player safety.
• Resolves disputable matters and claims related to rule infractions.
• Attends official training clinics.
• Completes required paperwork and reports.
• Communicates with coaches, participants, parents/guardians, and Athletics Staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Knowledge of playing rules for various sports.
