Responsibilities

• Enforce the rules and regulations of a game to ensure fair play and the safety of all participants.
• Start and stop play, make judgment calls on infractions, and assess penalties.
• Keep track of the game's progress (such as time, score, and player conduct).
• Communicate clearly with players, coaches, and other officials.
• Manage conflicts or disputes that arise during the game.
• Maintain control of the event to ensure it runs smoothly and within established guidelines.
• Demonstrate impartiality, professionalism, and a thorough understanding of the sport at all times.

Requirements

• Previous officiating experience or sports-related experience as a coach or player (no experience is fine—we will get you certified).
• Strong knowledge of the sport's rules.
• Ability to make quick and confident decisions.
• Physical fitness, mental focus, and emotional resilience.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of an officiating team.
• Passion for the sport and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Pay

$35 per game
