Sports Coach

About the role

Success Academy is a fast-growing, high-performing network of public charter schools in New York and expanding to Florida. We are looking for a results-driven Elementary School, Middle School and High School Sports Coaches to join our community. In this role you will:

• Be a part of a highly motivated team committed to education reform, parent choice, and the building of exemplary schools
• Collaborate with coaches across the network to build a world-class athletics program
• Inspire a love for sport and encourage critical thinking through rigorous instruction
• Coordinate and lead family meetings
• Receive routine, ongoing feedback and support from an outstanding leadership team and faculty

Requirements

• Experience coaching youth and/or collegiate teams
• Ability to manage both administrative and coaching aspects of the position in a timely and organized manner
• Ability to develop/teach concepts such as teamwork, healthy lifestyles, sportsmanship
• Demonstrated track record of propelling students' understanding and love of sport
• Advanced understanding and education in one or more of the following sports: Soccer, Basketball, Track & Field

Qualifications

• Experience coaching futsal (a plus)
• Experience working with K-4 grades in a school setting (a plus)
• Drive to ensure that joyful, rigorous instruction is delivered to every scholar, every day
• Ability to become part of the school community and build relationships with key stakeholders and all constituents

Pay

$65,000 - $65,000 USD
