Sports Club Coordinator
Position Summary
The Sports Club Coordinator serves as a member of Campus Recreation and reports to the Assistant Director of Programs. Coordinates and manages all aspects of the Sports Club program in collaboration with the Assistant Director of Programs. The Sports Club Coordinator also recruits, hires, and trains student staff. Develops and applies policies and procedures as they relate to Sports Club, including documentation of processes and protocols. Additionally, this position assists in the general marketing of clubs and the entire sports club program in consideration with club officers and department marketing team. Performs other duties as assigned. The Sports Club Coordinator must be able to work flexible shifts between 6am-11pm as well as weekends when needed.
Responsibilities

- Recruits, hires, and trains student staff.
- Develops and applies policies and procedures as they relate to Sports Club, including documentation of processes and protocols.
- Assists in the general marketing of clubs and the entire sports club program in consideration with club officers and department marketing team.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least two years' full-time, professional experience in Recreation, Physical Education, Kinesiology or related field.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preferred Experience
- Certifications in CPR/AED/First Aid.

- Ability to translate and communicate the mission of a complex, urban university.
- Ability to persuasively represent University goals to various constituency groups.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts between 6am-11pm as well as weekends when needed.
- Intensive concentration and excellent listening skills.
- Ability to multi-task and focus on completion of tasks and objectives while under stress of demanding work schedule.
- Must maintain a positive and objective approach and attitude, even when confronted with difficult situations.

Pay
Salary Range: $45,000 - $49,000. A variety of important factors are reviewed by HR when considering salary, including job duties, the applicant's education and experience, all relevant internal equity considerations, department budget, and funding source.
