About the Role

Join the team to help create an exceptional event-day experience, one popcorn bag at a time! As a Warehouse Popcorn Production Attendant, you will play an important behind-the-scenes role in keeping the Delta Center prepared for every event. You will produce, package, label, rotate, and organize bulk popcorn while maintaining the quality, cleanliness, and inventory levels needed to support our food and beverage operations. This position is also part of the Warehouse team and may assist with deliveries, inventory, order preparation, and other warehouse responsibilities when additional support is needed. This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, organized, safety-focused, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced event environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow safe food-handling procedures throughout popcorn production.
  • Produce and package bulk popcorn according to event and inventory needs.
  • Properly label, date, and rotate productions using the First In, First Out (FIFO) method.
  • Help ensure guests receive fresh, high-quality popcorn.
  • Maintain appropriate popcorn inventory levels for Utah Jazz games, Utah Mammoth games, concerts, family shows, and other events.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels for popcorn-room products, packaging, and supplies.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and "Show-ready" popcorn production area.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment, surfaces, storage areas, and workspace as required.
  • Assist the Warehouse team with deliveries, req building, inventory, and event preparation as needed.
  • Follow all Levy, Delta Center, food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety procedures.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned based on business and event needs.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age or older.
  • Warehouse, inventory, food production, or similar experience is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to complete tasks with limited supervision.
  • Basic knowledge of food-safety and workplace-safety procedures.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn inventory-related systems.
  • Ability to work flexible event-based schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to frequently lift, carry, push and move heavy products or supplies.
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid Utah Food Handlers Permit.
  • Associates who are 21 years of age or older must obtain and maintain a valid Utah On-Premise Alcohol Certificate through ServSafe.
  • Pallet jack and forklift certification are preferred but not required.

Pay

$17.00 (Under 21) – $21.00 (21+ yrs) Hourly
