Sports and Games Camp Counselor 2026

Primary Responsibilities

• Aid in planning daily camp activities and carpool drop-off and pick-up.
• Engage in camp activities and assigned tasks.
• Promote safety and enjoyment among all attendees by enforcing camp rules.
• Maintain facilities and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Support in other areas as needed.
• Oversee camper behavior and participation during field trips to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
• Supervise students in the swimming pool, which may include being in the pool.

Position Requirements

• Outstanding organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and follow-up.
• Flexibility, resourcefulness, and ability to work on various projects simultaneously.
• Excellent employee service skills, including active listening and empathy towards student or parent concerns.
• Flexibility with work schedule and hours during the workday.
• Age 15 or older.
• Attend all three weeks of the Sports and Games camp.

Physical Demands

• Sit, use hands to finger, and communicate verbally.
• Occasionally stand, walk, and reach with hands.
• Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
• Close vision and ability to adjust focus required.
