About the role
We're seeking a Part-time Sporting Goods Merchandiser who loves sports, fitness, fashion, and the outdoors. This role involves shaping how customers experience our store, building engaging displays, restocking merchandise, and assisting customers.
Responsibilities
- Unload product from freight.
- Tag, fold, hang, and price merchandise.
- Restock merchandise on the sales floor and bring product to the floor for display.
- Absorb and assist customers with retrieving and loading purchased product.
- Maintain an orderly appearance of personal work space and surrounding areas.
- Perform general cleaning and organization around the store and back stock areas.
- Add and subtract two-digit numbers, multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
- Write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Exercise judgment and tact, and work independently and with the team.
- Apply basic understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Show attention to detail, be professional in appearance and attitude, and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
- Willing to do other tasks as assigned by the leadership team and Support Leads.
- Work assigned schedule, which may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation. Very heavy work - Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience: Minimum of a high school diploma, or general education degree (GED), 1-3 months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
