Sport Instructor Volleyball
About the Role
i9 Sports® is seeking a hands-on Volleyball Instructor to lead athletes and provide expert instruction in volleyball. The Instructor is directly responsible for delivering the i9 Sports Experience and fostering a positive youth sports culture for boys and girls ages 7 to 14.
Responsibilities
- Lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
- Teach and demonstrate core concepts, including Sportsmanship values
- Communicate game day information to players and parents using established platforms
- Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
Schedule & Location
- Location: Severna Park Community Center
- Schedule: Sunday afternoons (Fall season begins on 9/13, 7-week duration)
- Additional hours may include weekends and some evenings for the full season
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge
- Highly motivated self-starter; ability to work independently
- Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check
