Sport Coordinator Flag Football
About the Role
The Sports Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. The Sports Coordinator will need to build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while making sure that the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered. Observing, assessing, and assisting our coaches is paramount. The position entails hands-on involvement with practices and games among all age groups and skill levels.
Location & Schedule
Anderson Twp. Riverside Park, 3969 Round Bottom Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45244. Must be able to work Sundays and available to work for the full duration of the season. Approximate hours 11:00 am – 7:30 pm (final schedule TBD). 7-week season. League dates: 8/30/2026, 9/5/2026 (off Labor Day Weekend), 9/13/2026, 9/20/2026, 9/27/2026, 10/4/2026, 10/11/2026, 10/18/2026 (last day unless make-up games needed). Weather make-up dates if needed: 10/25/2026, 11/01/2026.
Responsibilities
- Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
- Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
- Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day
- Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge
- Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems
- Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
- Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
- Ability to work for the full duration of the season (7 weeks)
Requirements
- Must be 16 and older for coordinator/official positions
- Must have reliable transportation
- No certification needed – we train for our league format
- Background in sports or customer service is a plus
- Great job for college students looking to make extra money
- Must be reliable
Pay
$15.00 – $17.00 per hour (High School Students start at $14.00 per hour).
