About the role
As a powder coater, you are responsible for professionally powder coating aluminum and steel parts according to established quality and safety regulations. You operate and monitor the modern coating system, ensuring correct setup, monitoring, and adjustment of the coating process. You also report any malfunctions or deviations. Quality, efficiency, and workplace organization are central to this role.
Additionally, you will assist with general administrative tasks and order processing, as well as managing various aspects of the company’s commercial and marketing policy. You serve as the first point of contact for customers and represent our powder coating services.
Responsibilities
- Professionally powder coat aluminum and steel parts according to quality and safety standards
- Operate and monitor the modern coating system, adjusting the process as needed
- Identify and report malfunctions or deviations in the coating process
- Perform general administrative tasks and order processing
- Create and follow up on quotes
- Develop new marketing initiatives and spot opportunities
- Manage the website and AdWords campaigns
- Assist in production when necessary or required
- Maintain oversight of production processes
- Ensure order and cleanliness in the workplace
Requirements
- Training as a coater or relevant experience with powder coating and/or wet painting
- Accurate work ethic with a strong eye for detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned tasks
- Technical insight and interest in modern production machinery
- Fluent in Dutch for reading and understanding work instructions and safety regulations
- Experience in a production environment is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience
- Proficient with PCs and modern media
- Hands-on mentality with spontaneity and proactivity
- Strong communication skills and creativity
- Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy and punctuality
- Fluent in Dutch, with strong French and English skills
- Knowledge of Navision is an asset
- Possession of a Category C driver’s license (for backup driving duties) is a plus

Schedule
Part-time to full-time, with negotiable hours. The position is based in Lummen, easily accessible via the Klaverblad.
