About the role
Outdoor Life Leadership is seeking a Sponsorship Research & Outreach Volunteer to support our year-round OLL Annual Sponsorship Program. You will help find businesses and organizations that may want to support youth development, outdoor education, emergency preparedness, family support, events, career skills, gear, and general organizational needs. This is a practical support role for someone who enjoys research, communication, and keeping information organized.
Responsibilities
- Research potential business and corporate sponsors
- Find basic company and contact information
- Identify companies that match OLL's mission
- Help prepare approved sponsor outreach
- Send outreach and follow-up messages as assigned
- Update the sponsor prospect list
- Track outreach and responses
- Share promising sponsor leads with the Sponsorship & Partnerships Lead
Requirements
- Experience with research, outreach, fundraising, sales, partnerships, marketing, or a related area
- Strong written communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable researching companies online
- Organized and dependable
- Ability to volunteer independently
- Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and online tools
Nonprofit experience is helpful but not required.
Time Commitment
6–12 months part-time with flexible hours. The role is designed to be manageable alongside other commitments. Tasks will be assigned based on current sponsorship needs.
