SPM Developer

Contract position based in Spring, TX. Fully remote work arrangement.

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) expert to build out low-code capabilities, reporting, insights, and dashboards that drive adoption and accuracy. You will partner with internal teams to implement key initiatives, translate requirements into platform actions, and establish ServiceNow best practices.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on implementation and development within the ServiceNow SPM module.
• Low-code development, including workflow configuration and scripting (JavaScript knowledge beneficial).
• Build reporting, insights, dashboards, automation capabilities, and auditing/SLAs.
• Complete key initiatives: demand workflow changes, project-related changes, strategic planning workspace implementation, and reporting/insights dashboards.
• Gather and translate requirements from various groups (e.g., PMO, financial team) into platform actions.
• Partner with the team to establish ServiceNow best practices for release management and story structuring.
• Potentially interact with a globally distributed engineering team, including members in India.

Requirements

• Expertise in the ServiceNow SPM module.
• Comfort with low-code development and scripting within SPM.
• Strong capabilities in reporting and insights.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse groups, including non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment, helping to structure work for incremental value delivery.
• Extensive experience working in the ServiceNow or SPM space.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow best practices for development and environment progression.

Pay

$70.00 - $70.00/hr.
