Speedometer Conversion Specialist

Position Overview

The Speedometer Conversion Specialist is responsible for converting Canadian vehicles to meet U.S. compliance requirements, with a primary focus on speedometer and instrument cluster conversions. This role requires attention to detail, technical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform speedometer and instrument cluster conversions on Canadian vehicles
• Configure vehicles to display U.S. units and meet federal compliance standards
• Complete vehicle compliance documentation accurately
• Diagnose and resolve conversion-related issues
• Verify proper operation of all converted systems
• Maintain quality control standards throughout the conversion process
• Work closely with import, title, and compliance departments

Qualifications

• Automotive electrical or technician experience preferred
• Experience with vehicle programming, diagnostics, and instrument clusters
• Knowledge of Canadian-to-U.S. vehicle conversion processes is a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work independently and efficiently
• Valid driver’s license required
