About the Role
The Speed and Strength Coach leads and instructs group training classes as well as personal training sessions. As the front-line customer experience, the Coach must engage and motivate clients of all ages, from children to adults. This role is ideal for someone with a big personality, loud vocals, high energy, and a passion for developing athletes.
Responsibilities
- 80% — Coaching Group Training Sessions: Lead clients through workouts with high energy, loud vocal skills, and precise coaching points. Organize groups, maintain motivation, and oversee music selection.
- 10% — Member Retention and Free Trial Assessments: Assist in leading clients through Free Trial Assessments (FTAs) under the direction of the Head Speed and Strength Coach. Place clients in appropriate groups and retain them through follow-up calls and facility programs.
- 5% — Specialty Events: Lead and assist with specialty camps, combines, and marketing events.
- 5% — Additional Duties: Perform training area cleaning, maintenance, and equipment upkeep.

Requirements
- Nationally recognized and accredited certification: NSCA, NASM, ACSM, or ACE.
- 2+ years of experience training groups.
- Strong communication skills with a big personality and high energy.
- Knowledge of workouts and exercise terminology.
- Prior personal training experience working with clients.
- Presents as athletic ("looks the part").
- Baseline proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus.
Pay
Base salary of $38,000 – $48,000 per year, depending on experience and certifications.
